Which astrological age are we in? Well, I hope you’re good at riddles, math, and astral projection, because that’s how to find out. If you already know for sure, scroll down and take the poll. If not, let’s figure this out together, it’s what Aquarius would want.
In simplest terms, an astrological age is based on the precession of the equinoxes and the backwards wobbling of the earth's axis across the constellations. There are 12 astrological ages, each one relating to the 12 zodiac signs. This is similar to the Hindu Yuga cycle, which will be discussed at another time, for clarity’s sake. It is argued that one astrological age lasts approximately 2,100 years, give or take a few hundred years for transition periods. One full completion of this cycle takes about 25,800 years and is referred to as a “Great Year.” Each 2,100 year age is divided into 180 year eras. Those eras are linked to, you guessed it, the 12 astrological signs.
There is disagreement on the beginnings and endings of each age and era. Scientists have utilized astronomical approaches to understand how the astrological ages play out. Likewise, there is a spiritual route many have taken to calculate it. For this reason, I have kept out exact timelines suggested for each age. Despite the divide, one thing seems clear—astrological ages have their own traits and mantras which dictate humanity’s fate. This is something special that experts on all sides seem to agree with.
Leo — “I will.”
The Golden Age likely came into power as the ice age melted away. Leo signifies birth, thus it was logically ego-driven. It was a time many spent worshiping sun gods. Those from this time were potentially aided by unknown advanced technology. Ultimately, it crumbled to pride, and sunk into Cancer.
Cancer — “I feel.”
Cancer offered human and animal domestication. People nurtured their spaces, and cherished creations. The earth was ripe with growth, and ruled by the moon. Some claim this to be the last time the matriarchy was in charge. This could explain modern society’s grudge against Gemini, for he consumed the heart of a martyr/mother.
Gemini — “I think.”
The mind is naturally severed, and equal parts hungry for information. The Age of Gemini was defined by this systemic conflict resolution. Men and women established effective roles of the home, and accelerated standards. Communication and discussion reigned. Writing emerged to be sacrificed and preserved by a deity.
Taurus — “I have.”
Enchanted with infrastructure but plagued with ritual. During this age, humanity was constantly toppled by the bull. It was a meaningful struggle, as Taurus bore the most resilient of spirits. Nothing else could overcome it, so it slaughtered itself. Aries was simply the next of kin.
Aries — “I am.”
Philosophers managed to thrive through persistent wars and disagreements. Religion conquered the globe. Military became culture, yet life became knowing thyself. The Age of Aries was potentially when Christ was born, though Pisces has a good argument for conceiving Jesus. Aries collapsed for a more profitable structure.
Pisces — “I believe.”
A time of bondage and hidden slavery. Some claim this is our current age. Religious fervor is the landscape of this world. Regardless of the timeline, Pisces is ever defined by Christ, as they share their symbol. Here, much pain is endured and there is an absurd attachment to material good. Yet, the people of this age have always yearned for those concepts just outside their grasp in the physical realm. Belief is their asset.
Aquarius — “I know.”
If we are truly in the Age of Aquarius, we should be able to all acknowledge it telepathically. Our attachment to the physical should soon evaporate. Gurus are excited for this new age. They say that we must reshape our perception so that we feel rather than think. Heart over mind. Which means, mind over matter. Owning nothing, and being happy. A strong sense of community (potentially through trauma bonding) is to be expected. Knowledge is power, but power is futile if not shared.
Capricorn — “I use.”
The Age of Capricorn was so long ago, that it is difficult to speak of it in terms of the past, much like the ages which will follow it below. Most opt to make predictions on what the age of Capricorn will look like. Ultimate control is set to take over the mass consciousness. It will be an isolate environment, thus it will be highly goal-driven. This will make individuals more grounded than previously thought possible. The big business of Capricorn will close up shop when humanity is ready to reconnect.
Sagittarius — “I see.”
More matriarchy for all. This is a time for healing. Passion will be the omnipresent language. All will be vegetarian, or so they say. Unity will be god, or goddess, or whatever term they’ll reinvent for a genderless god. It will contain a rich history, which its inhabitants will inevitably take for granted before being seduced by Scorpio’s desire for control.
Scorpio — “I desire.”
Unfortunately, there is very little input for this mysterious age. Scorpio rules death with an iron fist, so it is imagined to be a time of death and disaster. Some go so far as to say that it will be a post-human age. Others claim there will be another ice age. It would be interesting to get a glimpse of Scorpio, as it is shrouded in darkness.
Libra — “I balance.”
Naturally, balance will be restored as darkness transforms into a light at the end of the tunnel. In the past, it was said to have been when urbanization and cave paintings had cropped up. Consciousness also saw the light of day for the first time. As for the upcoming age, consciousness will be renewed and refined. This will be when peace evolves into what it was always meant to be, for better or for worse.
Virgo — “I analyze.”
Birth of birth. The first and last beginning. It was once an oasis and it will be again one day. It is possessed by divinity and elevation. Like Eden, it is a world within a world. More female respect, and mother worship is again predicted. Though, keep in mind, Virgo succumbs to Satan every time. When she does, will this be the last cycle?
I think we are in the Age of Pisces, mostly because the mainstream media so fervently wants to distract us with the socialist glimmer of Aquarius. Regardless, I think all the ages serve the same purpose. They are a constant reminder that we are constrained to our time and dimension. We are eternally on the cusp of being blinded by a newer truth that we’ve secretly known all along. At this moment, like all moments before it, we are on the last sliver of the moon that shines back against the black.
. . . “This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius . . . A Q U A R I U S . . . . Mystic Crystal Revelation, and the Minds true liberation.”
