Very nice thoughts. Native Americans I believe have very strong circle affinity.
Also, I found this interview with Robert Bly that the circle represents the mother and the square the father. So that adds another interesting aspect, especially when you consider these phones were all made by men (well Steve Jobs and mainly Apple Engineers).
Thank you so much for this feast of thoughts, reflections, and ideas. I loved your audio, it was such a gift to hear you ponder all of this aloud. I think that is so beautiful, like a living process.
I remember that Steve Jobs wore the same thing every day to free up his creative mind. I admit I do much the same thing, black tank top black pants. It's easy. and freeing.
What I was thinking as I was considering your fascinating observations about squares, buildings, phones.. could it be the artist's greatest time to be here creating wild free-form things, against this backdrop of angular, gray and black structure. Could the angular square be crying out for spheres even? Needing them?
Could the square be the pedestal, providing the stability and platform, to elevate spheres, curves, wild vines in all directions... maybe. :)
Thank you so much. I'll never look at the shapes in the world the same again!
The other day I said (how I often say) that I want a uniform like Steve Jobs had. It cuts out the busywork and I can focus on what I need to focus on. I love your take on this. I completely agree. I am of the opinion that a great collective undertaking is on its way, and it involves art and creation. Thank you so much for your input…now I’m pondering even more.
Oh I so agree! It absolutely involves art and creation on a whole new plane of existence. I'm so here for it, and I'm thrilled to have connected with you along the way thanks to Josh sharing your fine works... we are finding each other.. :)
Love the artwork. That last photo of the rose reflected in the music box mirror elicits a sense of nostalgic gratitude within me balanced by a healthy dose of sorrowful longing. For what? Dunno, but I sure am happy the Unthink(en)ing is back in action! RSS when? 😉

The mirror box was nostalgic for me too, I took many photos of it for that reason. There is just something about it. It also reminds me of you!
This was nice and relaxing to listen to before bed. Thanks.
