Omg that sounds horrible. But I like the tree analogy. Also, I recently watched severance and this gave me strong severance vibes.

On the Shadow work, I'd recommend Robert Bly. "A little book on the human shadow." Or something like that.

I don't necessarily have scary dreams just ones where I just don't like them. Like I want to change the channel. I've learned to fall asleep very quickly from the military so I've not had this problem of falling asleep.

But my daughter has this problem and it effects her quite a bit.

Thanks for sharing. I like the process you use of the audio and the written being a process.

Hey, this is why I like Severance! If I read the Robert Bly book, I think it’ll be my last on shadow work.

Sleeping like a quick rock is what I do these days, if that makes sense haha. It’s great.

Children and students are more likely to have nightmares, I believe it decreases with age no matter what though!

That's whats nice about the Bly book. It's less about "doing shadow work" and more about the actual psyche itself. I think it was published in the 80s or 90s so it's before influencer culture made it a shell of thing.
