Here is your person-less dinner party (for one) for the rest of your life! You’re not in the picture because you’re a person, and people aren’t invited. You’re excited, because you naturally hate people!
Now, after you’ve enjoyed your party with your…not self? I’d like you to go down memory lane and censor all the people in every photo that you see. Famous ones too! I want you to soak up what it means to be misanthropic. Really revel in a world devoid of people. I suppose you’ll have to go back and get rid of all the buildings, machines, gadgets, cuisine, art, and any inkling of culture too.
I know, you win more flies with honey. I’m not going to convince you to admit your unconditional love for people by being snarky. It’s just exasperating to witness anti-human rhetoric everywhere these days. It seems impossible to destroy, given that the wonder of humankind is neglected for sardonic sabotage of our own species. Self-hatred is the cause of all of our problems, the source of poison in every rotten relationship. It is the worst thing about us.
We are so beautiful, interesting, and funny. We are so wise, strange, and kind. We are flawed, and that is why we learn. We are vulnerable, yet we adapt. We persevere despite all odds, and what a gift it is to be the top underdog. I truly hope you know that the entire reason for being human is to be a human being. Embrace it. It’s really your only option anyway.
